What is it?
A day of FREE special events for pet owners, their kids and pets
on Sunday Sunday,
September 14 at T Taylor Farm Park in Norwalk, CT aylor CT. W .
We expect over 800 pet
e owners, many who will bring multiple dogs. It provides each with
an exciting
and interesting day of special events, information about pet cancer
treat treat-
ment and FUN!
Why is it?
The event will raise over $25,000 to be donated to The Animal Cancer Foundation.
What Kinds Of Events
Will Be Featured?
Smokey' Smokey's Day is an opportunity to see amazing dogs do their
stuff! The Nor s Nor- walk Police K9 Demonstration and the dog
agility demonstrations are always crowd pleasers.
There will also be numerous celebrities for photos and autographs.
We have a variety of fantastic and valuable prizes in our charity
fund-raiser e raffle and a Spin to Win contest for toys for your
pets.
We have a number of exhibitors providing an array of products and
services e for you and your pets.
Smokey' Smokey's Day has invited the following "attractions" back
for 2008:
• The Blue Buffalo Celebrity Dog Walk led by Mayor Moccia
• Good Citizen Dog Training Dog Agility Demonstration
• Police K9 Demonstrations
• Rescue Dogs
And much more!
This year will feature a full calendar of exciting
events that will encourage dog owners to spend the afternoon and
give you an opportunity to interact directly with them!
These activities include:
• Breed Clubs - we expect more than 6-8
breed clubs from the region to hold a special picnic/get together
together. Some will be doing special . demonstrations of their
breed' breed's abilities.
• Therapy Dogs - W We will host a special salute our special
canine friends e who make such a big difference to people with
special needs.
• Dog Grooming and A Dog/Owner Look-Alike Contest - More fun
for everyone!
