Oliver (and Zachary)

Zachary and Oliver have been the loves of our lives. They were both rescued from euthanasia as puppies. They traveled extensively with us in our motor home where they would lay in the front window and attract attention wherever we went. They went bike riding with us in their tow behind kiddie cart. They were the ring bearers at our wedding proudly sporting their red tuxedo ties and rhinestone leashes. They were inseparable companions for 12 1/2 years. They played together (they loved to play "snowball" in the winter), would often sleep together, picked ripe tomatoes off the plants together (we planted special ones just for them), and gave us unconditional love together.

Our beloved Oliver went to the Rainbow Bridge on September 15, 2009 after losing a battle with liver cancer. He was 17 1/2 years young.

Oliver-
O(lympic squirrel wrangler),
L(oyal co-pilot),
I(nfallible watch dog),
V(aledictorian of brotherhood),
R(elentless tomato slayer).

This special tribute to Oliver says it all about his personality. He is sadly missed and forever in our hearts.

Zachary hasn't been the same since his brother passed. We thought that a companion would help him to recover from his depression but he now has a heart and seizure disorder and the cardiologist doesn't recommend a companion. So, we are continuing to give Zachary all the love that we can in a human way.
