The Pet Philanthropy Circle, a non-profit based in Water Mill, recently hosted their national 2015 Pet Hero Award Winners.

The awards were given out at the fourth annual ceremony at the Manhattan Penthouse on Friday, Oct. 30th.

The popular event had honorees and guests flying in from all over the country to attend this celebration of the country’s most notable animal advocates.

Animal Cancer Foundation received the Animal Health Award for its work in funding comparative oncology.  The award was presented by famous spokesdog

Bocker the Labradoodle a lymphoma survivor and his mom Marie, who expressed appreciation for the efforts of the organization to find treatment options.

Board member and founder Dr. Gerald Post, a veterinary oncologist, accepted the award on behalf of the foundation.   A video produced by Subaru, a sponsor of the awards,

featured ACF President Matthew Vuolo and Executive Director Barbara Cohen, highlighting the work of the foundation.
